When cooking Binagoongang Baboy,your main objective is to achieve the sour,salty and sweet taste of the dish all at once.
Ingredients
1 Tbsp oil, for sautéing
1/3 cup onion, sliced
1 Tbsp ginger, cut into strips
600 g pork, kasim, cut into chunks
4 Tbsp bagoong alamang
2 pc siling haba
1 Tomato Sauce (200g)3/4 cup water
Preparation
1. Sauté onion, ginger, and pork in oil for 5 minutes.
2. Add bagoong and sili, then saute for 3 minutes. Add Tomato Sauce. Sauté for 5 minutes.
3. Add water. Bring to a boil and allow to simmer over low heat for 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
