For this project you will need:
- Scissors
- Thread
- Wooden pegs for clothes
- Hot glue gun
- Cap from some deodorant
First take the pegs and disassemble them. Separate the wire of the wood and you will get two wooden sticks from one peg.
The number of the pegs needed depends of the size of the cap. Take one by one stick and start gluing them. I was using hot glue gun but you can use any glue that you think it will be working. You are going to glue the parts of the pegs one next to each other. Glue them with the smooth side inside.
When you reach the end maybe you will have a space smaller than a peace of a peg. You can cut the peace a little so you can put it in the empty place.
When you finish with gluing the pegs take the thread and glue it in the place where the wire was standing before. This step is optional.
And you have finished your pencil holder.
Put your pens and pencils inside and place the holder on your desk.
Additional advices: You can always paint the pegs and get something more interesting. Also, you can use plastic pegs in different colors and make it more fun. It’s up to you.
